Tom Brady pays tribute to daughter, mum and sisters to mark International Women’s Day
Tom Brady has paid tribute to his daughter, mum and sisters to mark International Women’s Day.
The former NFL star, 46, gushed over them on his Instagram Stories to mark the global celebration on Friday (08.03.24), saying his 11-year-old girl Vivian, mum Galynn Patricia Brady and his siblings are among the best people he knows.
He shared a photo of himself surrounded by his older sisters Maureen, Julie and Nancy, and captioned it: “Happy International Women’s Day.”
Tom also posted a snapshot of Vivian and Galynn smiling together at a sporting event, and wrote alongside it: “To the most powerful, kind, and caring women in the world.”
The retired athlete has Vivian, along with 14-year-old son Benjamin, with his 43-year-old former wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen – who also helped raise Tom’s 16-year-old son, Jack, who he has with his actress ex Bridget Moynahan, 52.
He and Gisele were married for 13 years before going through a tough divorce in October 2022 after months of rumours their relationship was on the rocks.
Gisele recently broke down in tears while reflecting on their relationship during an interview with Robin Roberts for ‘Good Morning America’.
She also opened up about what it’s like co-parenting with seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom – admitting: “There’s easier days than others.”
When Tom confirmed on social media he and Gisele were no longer married, he said co-parenting in a way that would give their kids “love, care and attention” was top of their priorities.
Tom has been linked to model Irina Shayk, 38, in the wake of his divorce, while Gisele has moved on with her jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente.
They have not publicly spoken about their romance, but were spotted kissing on Valentine’s Day, with a source telling Page Six the pair are “deeply in love”.
