Tom Brady Reveals His Date for the 2024 Summer Olympics: 'It's Going to Be So Fun' (Exclusive)

Of course, the athlete can't stay away from the 2024 games in Paris, and he's bringing along a special guest for the trip

Tom Brady is heading back to Paris later this summer for the Olympic games — and he's bringing daughter Vivian, 11, along for the ride.

"It's going to be so fun," the 46-year-old tells PEOPLE of taking the youngest of his three kids to the games in July.

Brady says he and his brood, which also includes son Benjamin, 14, and Jack, 16, were also just in Paris for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, where they were cheering on the Hertz JOTA team. The former NFL star shares son Benjamin and daughter Vivian with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, 43, and son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan, 53.

(Brady is a Hertz ambassador, and recently released a funny new spot for the rental company's "Let's Go" campaign.)

"That race is incredible," the former quarterback says of Le Mans. "Hundreds of thousands of people. It's a road race, but it also has a bleacher part. It's insane. You don't realize how big it is until you get over there."

So does Brady have a favorite sport he's going to watch with Vivian at the Olympics? Gymnastics? Women's basketball?

"I love all sports!" says Brady, who also recently became a minority owner of the Birmingham FC soccer team in England.

"Whether it's a soccer team in the UK, whether it's a racing team like the Hertz Jota team, whether it's a football team, pickleball team, a women's basketball team, an NFL team...really the culture is about people, and about accountability and discipline, and then leadership," he says.

He adds that being a part of a team for so long is helpful when it comes to his new ventures, which include various business ventures, brand ambassadorships, sports team ownership, and this fall, a sports analyst gig with Fox Sports.

"It's really about being selfless," he says. "I was a part of a culture that was about being totally selfless. There was a great line that [famed basketball coach] John Wooden said: 'Happiness begins where selfishness ends.'"

He continues, "That's the way it was with my football teammates. We were just a bunch of people that love being together and we didn't care who got the credit. We just wanted to win. That's a really unique thing."

He says that mentality sets you up for continued success.

"When I think about this next part of my life beyond football, it's the same thing: being around great people that support you, that give you feedback. If you want something to be successful, it's all the same fundamentals as sports."
