Tom Cruise surprises restaurant staff with visit in Derbyshire
The actor is currently filming the next instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise
Tom Cruise has left the staff at a restaurant in Derbyshire starstruck after eating at their establishment during a break from filming the newest Mission: Impossible film.
The Hollywood A-lister was a surprise guest at Restaurant Lovage, which is situated in the village of Bakewell, Derbyshire. He visited the venue last week, and after enjoying a meal with his fellow cast and crew the actor took the time to snap photos with staff.
The company shared the picture on social media on Wednesday 6 March, and a spokesperson for Restaurant Lovage said: "We were honoured to have shared our food and hospitality with Tom Cruise and his cast and crew last week.
"A truly humbling experience to have had such a kind and genuine group of guests join us. Mr Cruise was kind enough to offer a photo with us all and has given us permission to share. Thank you for choosing Lovage - we would be thrilled to welcome you all back again!"

The actor and the crew previously filmed in Derbyshire for Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, so it comes as no surprise that they have returned to the location to film again. Scenes filmed for the new film include a car chase at Middleton Mine, near Matlock.
