Watch: Sir Tom Jones says inversion therapy is key to his good health
Sir Tom Jones has revealed that he spends time hanging upside down in a bid to stay healthy.
“I hang upside down. You know, on one of those frames,” said the veteran star.
“It’s great,” he said of the therapy, which celebrities such as Ozzy Osbourne and Bradley Cooper are also thought to be fans of.
“You put your feet in the thing and you flip and you hang.”
Sir Tom said he also keeps an eye on what he is eating and drinking and works out in a bid to stay in shape.
Sharing that he has a “12-pack”, the Welsh star said that he works with a trainer and that his current regime involves “a lot of stretching and boxing thrown in”.
The crooner turned 80 in June last year and has had his coronavirus vaccine.
After getting his first round he said it was just like getting the flu jab.
The singer has now had his second jab and said he feels “bulletproof”.
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, he said: “I’ve had the two and I’m now bulletproof! It’s a great feeling.
“I thought, ‘I’ll be able to go out and do some live shows now’, but then I thought, ‘You’ve got to have an audience for that!’
“If they haven’t had the jab, what’s the point?”
