The Wanted's Tom Parker 'cried his eyes out' when he first held his newborn son
The Wanted star Tom Parker has revealed he “cried his eyes out” when he first held his newborn son. The birth came just months after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
The 32-year-old and wife Kelsey welcomed their second child last month, and the pair opened up about the emotional rollercoaster they’ve been on in a recent interview.
Speaking to OK! magazine about the new arrival, the singer said: "It was so nice. I cried my eyes out!"
The couple already have a one-year-old, Aurelia, and the interview saw them reveal the new arrival is named Bodhi.

Kelsey said: “Bodhi means enlightenment. So it just goes perfectly with our situation right now. He’s the light at the end of our tunnel.

"Tom didn’t want the name. I said, ‘Tom, I don’t care what you say – we’re having Bodhi and that’s it.’"
Parker told fans about his health condition last month in a social media post.
Sharing a picture of himself with Kelsey and their daughter, the star said he and his family are “absolutely devastated” at the diagnosis.

"There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment.

"We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way.
"We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way.
"We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options. It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this. Tom and Kelsey xxx."
