Here's your round-up of all the latest Swansea City news for Thursday, June 27.

Millwall move for Langstaff

Millwall have reportedly launched a bid for Swansea City target Macaulay Langstaff.

According to Football Insider, Lions boss Neil Harris views the Notts County striker as capable of strengthening his forward options next season, and believes he's ready to make the step up from League Two.

Langstaff is a player firmly on the radar at Swansea too, having worked under current Swans boss Luke Williams during their time at Meadow Lane together. However, it seems the club are yet to firm up their interest with a formal bid at this stage.

Now, it seems the Lions are ready to steal a march.

Langstaff topped the League Two scoring charts with 28 goals last season, following on from his astonishing 42-goal haul in the National League in 2022-23.

Presumably aware of the growing interest in his signature, County have already made moves to try and keep the striker, making him club captain for the upcoming season.

However, it could soon become increasingly difficult to keep him on board.

Swansea bid for Korean star

Swansea City have reportedly lodged a bid for Korean winger Eom Ji-Sung.

According to Korean outlet OSEN, the Swans have lodged an offer believed to be around $1million to the K-League outfit, with what's believed to be a significant sell-on clause.

The player himself is understood to be interested in a move to Europe, having previously turned down a move to the MLS.

However, it's claimed that Gwangju could be holding out for a bigger fee as they bid to hold on to one of their key players midway through the current season.

A source told the Korean outlet: "Gwangju wants a high transfer fee for Eom Ji-Sung due to recent financial problems. However, he is a youth product and has devoted himself so far, helping Gwangju advance to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League, so he will advance to Europe.

"We are not hiding our will."
