The countdown is on as general election polling day on July 4 draws ever closer.

Hull Live wants to hear from readers what the key issues are for you at this election. And what questions you would like to ask candidates.

Redrawn boundaries mean the constituencies up for election this time around are a different make-up from December 2019. East Riding has Beverley and Holderness, Bridlington and the Wolds, and Goole and Pocklington.

Covering Hull and its environs, some of which are in East Riding Council area, are Hull East, Hull North, and Hull West and Haltemprice. A whopping 42 candidates are standing in Hull and East Riding - an average of seven per seat. In Hull North, there are nine different candidates.

Although under different boundaries, the last election saw Labour win Hull's then three seats and the Conservatives take East Riding's constituencies. But the political picture has changed significantly since then, including the recent rise of Reform, who are standing in all of Hull and East Riding's constituencies.
