Nick Thomas-Symonds has been elected as MP for Torfaen. Like some other areas in Wales, Reform has made gains and has pushed the Tories into third place.

All of the the existing Torfaen constituency joined with 11.8% of what used to be the Monmouth seat. Monmouthshire is traditionally a Conservative-supporting area but Labour is projected to win the new seat with candidate Nick Thomas-Symonds.

There were eight candidates vying for election.

It includes Blaenavon, Abersychan, Pnatg, New Inn and Two Locks.
