Toronto man charged with 2nd-degree murder after fatal January stabbing
A 26-year-old Toronto man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in the city earlier this year.
On Jan. 11, police responded to a call around 8:20 p.m. for a stabbing in the Lake Shore Boulevard W. and Lower Spadina Avenue area, Toronto police said in a news release on Thursday.
Matthew Crosby, 46, was stabbed after an argument with the accused turned physical, police said.
Crosby died of his injuries in hospital on Feb. 9.
The accused was scheduled to appear in bail court Thursday morning, police said.
