Tottenham Hotspur find themselves in the unenviable position of helping their fiercest rivals Arsenal when they face Manchester City on Tuesday night.

The Blues need to beat Spurs in order to return to the top of the Premier League and ensure the title race is in their own hands come the final day of the season. Anything other than a victory over Tottenham will mean Mikel Arteta's side are in the driving seat to lift the title.

While Arsenal are willing to become temporary Tottenham fans for the evening, there is a fear that their rivals will not be motivated to avoid defeat to City. In his pre-match press conference, Ange Postecoglou insisted his team would play with integrity against Pep Guardiola's men and it is worth remembering that if Aston Villa drop points against Liverpool on Monday night, Tottenham could still catch Unai Emery's side for that final Champions League spot with a win.

Either way, City will undoubtedly head into the match with a professional mindset knowing they are on the verge of history. Ahead of the game, here is how MEN Sport expects Tottenham to line-up against the Blues.

Goalkeeper - Guglielmo Vicario

The Italian has been an upgrade for Spurs this season and is unlikely to be dropped for this game. Vicario has had a tendency to be weak from corners so this may be an area that City are looking to exploit.

Defenders - Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Oliver Skipp

Tottenham's centre-back partnership of Romero and Van de Ven has been impressive and Erling Haaland will likely have a good contest with the latter when it comes to aerial duels. Porro will be looking to prove himself against his former club and after a goal at the weekend, he will certainly be in the mood.

Midfielders - Pape Matar Sarr, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, James Maddison

Considering City's attacking threats and Yves Bissouma ruled out of the encounter through injury, it is likely Postecoglou will bring in Hojbjerg to add protection to the backline. The Blues shall also have a keen eye on Maddison considering his creative abilities.

Forwards - Brennan Johnson, Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski

With Richarlison not available for Tottenham, Son will likely be deployed in the central attacking position and will ultimately be the main threat for City.
