Tow away warning as reckless drivers parking dangerously in Eryri village

Police have issued a warning after drivers have parked up dangerously in an Eryri village. The region has been beset by visitors parking recklessly already this year - with areas like Dyffryn Ogwen and roads around Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) affected.

Today a warning has been issued due to drivers on yellow lines in Capel Curig. North Wales Police said it was a danger to other drivers and emergency vehicles.

North Wales Police said: "There are numerous vehicles parked on double yellow lines on the A5 at Capel Curig. Please do not park in a way that causes a danger to other road users, and to the emergency services. Vehicles may also be removed at the owners' cost."
