'TOWIE' star Frankie Essex gives birth to twins

The Only Way is Essex star Frankie Essex has given birth to twins.

The reality star welcomed a baby boy and girl with her partner Luke Love after announcing her pregnancy back in February.

She revealed the news to OK! magazine, saying: "Double the love. Our baby bears have arrived."

Essex also said that twins do not run in either her or her partner's family: "There are no twins in the family and we conceived naturally. They’re not identical."

She shared a number of pictures on her social media including one of Love carrying identical car seats.

Essex and Love have been together for three years and she says he has been very supportive throughout her pregnancy.

She joked: "If he catches me trying to vacuum, he’ll just take it off me!"

Essex also said that her brother Joey is also "excited" and added: "His face was the best – I’ve got a video of him reacting [to the news of the pregnancy]. He just kept smiling all day. He checks up on me. He and Luke are really close, which is really nice."

Essex found out the genders of her twins in March when holding a reveal party with close family and friends.

In reaction to the news that she would be having a boy and a girl, Joey Essex said: "A proud brother about to become an uncle, congratulations to my sister and Luke. Boy and girl."

The couple are yet to release the names of their children.

Essex originally joined The Only Way is Essex in 2011 and appeared on the programme regularly until 2013. Since then she has made a variety of brief appearances. Her most recent appearance on the show came in 2021.

She has also appeared on a number of other reality shows including Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted.
