A bakery chain that caused a stir when it opened at The Trafford Centre last month has launched a new product that's getting customers in a spin.

We reported last month how the shopping mall's new Cinnabon stall was attracting quite a crowd, with queues forming even late at night.

Sweet-toothed shoppers were eager to get their hands on its world-famous Bons, which come in a variety of flavours including the Cinnabon Classic with Makara cinnamon and signature frosting, ChocoBon, Caramel PecanBon, as well as the official Biscoff Bon.

Now, the brand, loved by well-known faces including Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury, has launched a new product after teaming up with Oreo.

Made up of delicious dough rolls filled with chocolate sauce, covered with delicious frosting, sprinkled with Oreo crumb and finished with more chocolate sauce and topped with a classic Oreo cookie, this 'levelled up Chocobon' is described as 'a treat for the senses'.

You can buy them ready-made from the stores, or you can get kits delivered to add the topping yourself, which we did this week.

I wasn't convinced ours would end up looking anything like the ones on the picture, but they were surprisingly simple to make and you have the frosting, sauce and crumb toppings in separate pots, with a pack of Oreos to add that finishing touch. You can probably guess that they taste amazing and if you're a fan of Oreo then this is the treat for you.

The Oreo flavour has previously only been available in America by delivery only, with shoppers begging 'can you have an Oreo cinnamon roll all the time" and "these need to be on daily menu".

Now those prayers have been answered and as well as the large Oreo Chocobons, you can also get a Chocobon with Oreo Minibon and Chocobon with Oreo Bonbites (at selected stores).

They're freshly made in store every day - there's another shop in Manchester's Deansgate - or you can order via Deliveroo, JustEat and UberEats, or from the Cinnabon website.

The Trafford Centre Cinnabon is on Upper Regent Crescent close to New Look at the Marks and Spencer end of the shopping centre. Cinnabons cost from £2.90 for a Classic MiniBon, or £3.59 for a standard. A four pack costs from £10.09.
