Train Slams Into Tractor-Trailer in New York's Rockland County

A tractor-trailer was hit by an oncoming train on Thursday, February 23, while stopped on a railroad crossing in Haverstraw, New York.

According to local media, the delivery truck got stuck while waiting for a traffic light at the intersection before the train slammed into it. A local representative told Patch there were no injuries, as the “driver was able to get out before the train struck.”
