Train Station Destroyed After Russian Strike in Kostyantynivka

Multiple buildings including a train station were damaged in Russian strikes on Kostiantynivka, Ukraine, on the morning of February 25.

Footage filmed by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) shows flames and huge smoke plumes wafting from partially destroyed buildings across the city in Donetsk Oblast.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region said the attack occurred at around midnight on Sunday morning, damaging at least 59 buildings.

According to RFE/RL, the Kostyantynivka railway station was “important for evacuating civilians from eastern Ukraine when Russia launched its full-scale invasion two years ago, but became defunct during the war.”
