A group of travellers who were previously camped up in Caversham Park Village have now moved on to a different part of our town.

A multitude of reports came in that around half a dozen or so caravans have been seen in Prospect Park.

Erika Holliday, a resident local to Caversham Park Village, said that the group moved on from the park where they were originally stationed on Friday June 28.

"They left some rubbish behind, a tank and logs," she said. "I didn’t have any interaction with them. It’s the usual place I walk my dog daily."

"I didn’t see anything else. I’m not sure about other people, I tried to stayed away while they were there."
