Travis Barker’s son Landon reveals secret battle with ‘very minor’ Tourette’s syndrome
Travis Barker’s son Landon has spent years secretly suffering “very minor” Tourette’s syndrome.
The 20-year-old musician, who Blink-182 drummer Travis, 48, had with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 48, revealed his diagnosis of the condition – which has symptoms including unwanted and sometimes uncontrollable tics and sounds – in a video he posted on social media.
He said: “Hi guys! I figured I’d speak on this eventually. But yeah, I actually do have very, very minor Tourette’s.”
Revealing how it was first diagnosed when he was a child, Landon added: “I’ve had it since I can remember, like preschool.
“I remember exactly ’cause a teacher used to accuse me of rolling my eyes at her. Because one of the tics was like that. It was like a weird thing I do with my eyes.
“Yeah, it really just acts up in nervous situations and nerve-racking environments for me.
“But I thought I’d just share because why not?”
It was revealed last month Landon had split with social media influencer Charli D’Amelio, 19, with the musician posting a statement to Instagram on 6 February saying: “Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together.”
'We broke up to focus on ourselves. We are still friends and have so much love for each other.
“I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions. Thank you, love you all so much!”
Charli is the most followed person on TikTok and is yet to publicly comment on the break-up.
Travis broke up with Landon’s mum in 2008, and the former couple also have
18-year-old daughter Alabama and step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24.
He also has four-month-old son Rocky Thirteen with his 44-year-old wife Kourtney Kardashian.
