'Treasured daughter' with 'lovely smile for everyone' passes away at 37

Tributes have been paid to a "treasured daughter" who passed away at just 37 years old. Laura Pearce is described as a "beloved wife", a much-loved daughter-in-law and a "devoted" auntie.

She passed away after a short illness that was "bravely borne". She left behind her husband, Dean, step-daughter Shelby, mum Jeanette, sisters Karenza, Anna, Emma, and brother Martin.

A celebration of Laura's life will be held on Friday, July 12, and guests are asked to wear bright colours.

The full tribute reads: "Passed away at her mum's home 'Polgwin' surrounded by her family, after a short illness and bravely borne, Laura May aged 37 years.

"Beloved wife of Dean, stepmum to Shelby, treasured daughter of Jeanette, sister to Karenza, Anna, Emma and Martin, much loved daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and devoted 'auntie'."

After news of Laura's passing was shared online tributes came flooding in on social media.

Jess Devereaux wrote: "Such a ray of sunshine with bags of positivity. Life is so cruel sometimes."

And Jean Miners commented: "My thoughts are with all Laura’s family. You will be greatly missed for sure Laura, you always had that lovely smile for everyone. RIP Laura."

Loraine Hoar added: "Thinking of all Laura’s family and friends."

Then Sophie Louise Morton said: "May she finally rest in peace."

A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at Penmount Crematorium Truro, on Friday, July 12, at 2pm, Trelawny Chapel. At the families request, please wear bright colours.
