Tributes have been shared in memory of the much-loved owner of city shop Mr Khan's. Sheraz Khan ran the Authentic Jamaican Food Store in Winson Green for almost four decades.

Loved ones revealed the sad news of the 68-year-old dad's passing on social media. His funeral was at the Dudley Road Mosque followed by his burial at the Fallings Heath Cemetery, in Wednesbury, on Friday, May 10.

Mourners said Mr Khan's "legacy lives on" following the massive success of his family-run business since it was established in 1986. The Dudley Road supermarket, which he operates with son Danny, is the largest Afro-Caribbean food specialist in Birmingham.
