Tributes paid to 'loving and generous' woman as man charged with her murder

TRIBUTES have been paid to a "loving and generous" woman after a man was charged with her murder.

Joanne Samak had died from her injuries after an incident at an address in Chestnut Spinney in Droitwich at around 4.10am.

The 49-year-old mother has been described as being a "sensitive and generous person" after her death at around 4.10am on July 1.

Mohammed Samak, 42, of Chestnut Spinney has now been charged with murder.

Her family said in a statement: “Jo was a loving, sensitive, and generous person.

"She was hardworking and talented. She looked forward to so much in her life.

“We are so thankful for Jo and have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and tributes from all who knew her.

"Jo, you are so loved by all your family and friends.

"Words fail us.

"We will continue to love and miss you forever.”

Mohammed Samak has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court today (July 5).
