Optical illusions aren't just entertaining, they can also reveal hidden aspects of our personalities and provoke deep thought.

The following image is more than meets the eye. Optical illusions are intriguing as they can have you fixated on the same picture for extended periods, unable to decipher what it represents.

Interestingly, two people could be looking at the exact same photo and disagree on what they perceive.

A specific optical illusion has been enlightening for those who have viewed it - as it supposedly reveals truths about our personality. According to TikTok user Mia Yilin, who regularly posts brainteasers on the platform and amassed nearly 500,000 followers, your initial perception of the image can indicate whether you are brave.

At a quick glance, you might see both a fish and a cloud in the image - but which did you notice first?

Mia suggests if you see the cloud first, you may "appear very brave and resilient externally" but are actually "quite sensitive internally and are easily influenced by the words and actions of others".

Further elaborating on the personality traits of those who see a cloud first, she added: "You detest the idea of settling for someone or something and have lofty standards and goals. Your personality is so appealing and charismatic that people cannot help but be attracted to you."

According to Mia, those who spot the dancer first in the illusion are usually 'kind and friendly', but can turn "quite threatening in times of competition".

On the other hand, if you noticed the fish first, Mia suggests you possess a "life is short" attitude, indicating you embrace life fully. She elaborated: "Your time is the most valuable thing to you, so you hate wasting it on people and things that don't deserve it."

Mia also mentioned individuals in this group tend to be very self-critical and always 'give 100%' in their endeavours. "That said, you're also a major worrier," she added. "And spend a lot of your time stressing about the unknown."

Furthermore, Mia described these people as 'extroverted introverts' who enjoy their own company but can also be the soul of the party when required.

Social media users were astounded by the optical illusion and Mia's insights. One user commented: "Fish... and definitely true... I am an extroverted introvert."

Another concurred: "I believed it on extroverted introvert." A third chimed in: "Fish and it's all true."
