TRNSMT weather forecast as Glasgow festival goers gear up for big weekend

With this summer's weather being rather unpredictable, TRNSMT fans will be preparing themselves for the everchanging forecast.

However, thankfully weather experts are now predicting a mostly dry weekend with even a few sunny spells - perfect timing for Glasgow festival goers!

The annual summer festival is coming to Glasgow Green this weekend, Friday July 12 to Sunday July 14

Hundreds of thousands of fans from all over the country will be making their way to the city for the star-studded line-up including Liam Gallacher, Gerry Cinnamon and Calvin Harris.

Friday (July 12) will see a "warm afternoon" with highs of 19C and lows of 12C in the night-time- it will remain dry and bright with occasional sunny spells. However, expect clouds to thicken at times, there is also a small 20% chance of rain at around 12pm - what's new!

Saturday (July 13) is looking more overcast with highs of 17C and lows of 13C. However, the Met Office predict plenty of dry weather with a few sunny spells, although in true Scottish fashion have warned of the occasional rain or showers. But, hopefully it continues to stay dry with only a 30% chance of rain at around 1pm.

Sunday (July 14) is looking brighter with highs of 19C and lows of 12C after 10pm. The morning may start off cloudy however, will soon change to sunny intervals by late morning - there is only a teeny chance of rain with 10% in the afternoon.
