Crowds gathered in front of Trump Tower in New York City on Friday, May 31, following the announcement of a guilty verdict in former president Donald Trump’s hush money trial the previous day.

Footage captured by X user @PaulIngrassia shows a large number of supporters and protesters holding flags and signs.

On Friday, Trump gave a speech in the lobby of Trump Tower where he denied wrongdoing, vowed to appeal his convictions, and railed against the “fairness” of the trial, the presiding judge, current president Joe Biden, and immigrants, among other topics. Credit: @PaulIngrassia via Storyful
