Data of 270,000 service personnel ‘exposed in Chinese MoD hack’

The hackers gained access to payroll information including names, bank details and some addresses of serving personnel, reservists and veterans. Speaking in the House of Commons, Grant Shapps, the Defence secretary, has said there is “potential evidence of failings” from a contractor hired by the MoD.
