MailOnline reports that Tulisa was breathalysed at the scene and held in custody before being released on bail.

Confirming that she has been charged, a Met Police spokesman told Mirror Celeb: “Tulisa Contostavlos, 27, was charged on Monday, 7 March with drink driving and dangerous driving.

“She was bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Monday, 4 April.”

Away from this, it was recently revealed that Tulisa has been working on new music with X Factor 2010′s Rebecca Ferguson, with The Mirror reporting that they met via management.

An insider said: “Tulisa’s been beavering away in the studio. She had some decent writing sessions with Rebecca and it sounded really good. They’re just settling on the right tracks.

“It’s all feel-good, happy and vibrant. They’ve found a niche sound for 2016 which is moving away from the dance vibe. She’s bringing the fun back into her sound and going back to commercial urban pop like she had when she was number one with Young.”
