TVLine Items: The Ark Season 2 Date, Rome Flynn Joins Godfather of Harlem and More
The Ark is taking flight for a second season on Wednesday, July 17 at 10/9c on Syfy, the network announced on Tuesday. The cabler also released the above first-look photo from the Season 2 premiere.
Created by Dean Devlin (Stargate), The Ark “takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race,” per the official synopsis.

* Rome Flynn (How to Get Away With Murder, Chicago Fire) will guest-star during Godfather of Harlem Season 4 as Frank Lucas, a country boy from North Carolina who ventures to Harlem and eventually becomes Bumpy’s fierce defender and right-hand man. (Denzel Washington depicted an older Frank in the 2007 movie American Gangster.)
* Adria Arjona (Hit Man, Andor) has joined Richard Jenkins in Prime Video’s upcoming series Criminal, based on the graphic novels by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, our sister site Variety reports.
