Yahoo News Twilight star responds to Taylor Swift's "best ex" comment
They may never ever get back together, but it seems the friendship between exes Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner is going pretty well.
The Twilight star, who briefly dated the singer back in 2009 after they both appeared on Garry Marshall's Valentine's Day, has recently commented on being called Swift's "best" ex.
"[That] sounds like a nice compliment to me," he told People. "I will take it."

Known for the role of Jacob Black in the film adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's vampire saga, Lautner revealed his wife Taylor Dome Lautner is a "diehard Swiftie".
She pointed out that her husband is "the only ex" who hasn't been referenced in any of Swift's songs, including the infamous From The Vault tracks she's debuting alongside her past albums' re-releases.
"She let me know that I'm the only ex without a diss track now," he said. "So that sounds like a nice thing. I'll take it and run. No complaints here."

Lautner's wife, a registered nurse and influencer, spoke about their relationship with Swift, saying: "In my mind, they're not even exes," with Lautner adding that the singer is "our friend".
He even made a surprise appearance during Swift's Eras Tour stop in Kansas City last July, recreating the backflip scene from Valentine's Day.
"I've been in front of a lot of people before, but I've never been in front of 75,000 Swifties before," he said about that night. "And it's a different level of passion. So that was just pretty surreal."
He then said he "had experienced a taste of that" with Twilight fans, "[but] never 75,000 of them at once.
"And obviously what Taylor's doing right now in her career is just unheard of. So similar, but this was definitely up there. It's a very, very cool experience."
