Two Emmerdale stars have reportedly quit the popular ITV soap with their final scenes set to air very soon.

Nicky Milligan and Suni Sharma, portrayed by Lewis Cope and Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana, are said to be leaving the show.

According to The Sun, the beloved on-screen couple have already filmed their final scenes and will make a surprise exit this summer.

This follows the recent departure of Ethan Anderson, played by Emile John, whose character was shockingly killed off last month. Samson Dingle, brought to life by Sam Hall, is also rumoured to be leaving the show soon.

Nicky first graced the screens of Emmerdale in December 2022, while Suni made his debut in July 2023, the Mirror reports.

Spoilers for the upcoming week suggest a double exit for Nicky and Suni as Nicky continues to grapple with his parents' betrayal.

Fans will remember that Nicky's mother, Ruby Fox-Milligan, recently hit Ethan with her car in retaliation for him leaving her son Nicky to die after a drink driving accident.

Initially, it seemed Ethan had survived the hit-and-run. However, in a shocking turn of events later in the week, Ethan suddenly died from severe head pain, leaving his family devastated.

Nicky has been left appalled by his mother's actions and his father Caleb Milligan's defence of her.

In the upcoming episodes, Nicky is set on creating some space from his folks and suggests to his partner Suni the idea of relocating. With news that the actors are leaving the show, this could potentially be their exit plot.

Last year, when Brahmdeo joined Emmerdale as Suni, he expressed his excitement: "I'm delighted to join the Emmerdale family. Having watched the show with my mum and dad growing up it feels surreal.

"I'm so grateful to everyone here for making me feel so welcome. Confident, magnetic and very fashion conscious Suni looks forward to injecting some flair to the Emmerdale village."

He added: "He's not afraid to be his true self and go after what (and who) he wants. I think what Emmerdale does brilliantly is making sure there's accurate representation of real people and telling their authentic stories.

"Bringing a wonderful character like Suni to life on a continuing drama is incredibly important to me as it gives exposure to a demographic which is sadly still under-represented so I truly hope to do him justice, and thank Emmerdale and it's fans for the privilege."
