Two homes have been left dangling on a cliff after a dramatic cliff fall on the north Norfolk coast.

The cliffs slipped at Trimingham, near Mundesley, leaving two properties in a precarious position.

Concerns over a potential cliff collapse at Trimingham had led the Ministry of Defence to move the distinctive 'golf ball' radar station inland to Neatishead last year.

And in January 2020, the cliff fell at Trimingham overnight, sending tonnes of sand and silt plummeting onto the beach and sea from the Trimingham House Caravan Park above.

Erosion has become a very common sight on the Norfolk coast with several homes also being lost in Hemsby in recent years.

In February, a chunk of the cliff fell in nearby Sidestrand and North Norfolk District Council warned it had been caused by ongoing wet weather.

North Norfolk District Council said it has been in touch with the owners of both properties in Trimingham.
