Two long-lost Hull clubs are being brought back - for one day only!

Waterfront and Sugar Mill were legendary names in the city centre and brought countless good times to clubbers over the years from the late 1970s onwards. Now the famous venues are making a comeback thanks to a DayClubbers pop-up at ATIK, which will see the original team behind the beloved venues taking over the site on Saturday, July 13.

Revellers can expect plenty of throwbacks between 4pm and 8pm with original Sugar Mill and Waterfront DJ Rob Harding on the lineup as well as some special guests. The event, which is strictly for those aged over 30, will bring back "classics, singalongs and bangers" from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s - and have clubbers home by 9pm.

Jamie Benham, of ATIK Hull, said: “We wanted to create an event for those who love music, dancing and being social - but don’t want the hassle, expense and following-day exhaustion of clubbing till the early hours.

"Expect classics, singalongs and non-stop bangers, as well as familiar faces on the dancefloor, but the added bonus of being in bed by 9pm. We can’t wait to take a trip down memory lane and are looking forward to throwing the doors open for the original party-lovers!”

Located in Dagger Lane in Hull city centre, off Princes Dock Street, Waterfront opened in June 1978 before transforming to Sugar Mill in 2007. Since 2017, it’s been the home of ATIK Hull.
