Two men die after horror crash between motorbike and car
Two men have died following a crash between a motorbike and a car.
The incident occurred on Ormskirk Road, Wigan at approximately 7.15pm yesterday (Saturday, April 13). Police have confirmed a Peugeot 408 was involved in a crash with a Suzuki GSR750 motorbike.
Both individuals on the motorbike were thrown from the vehicle and a 21-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.

A second man, aged 56, died in hospital. The car's driver, a 41 year old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and causing serious injury by careless driving.
He is currently being held for questioning by detectives. Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now appealing for witnesses to step forward, reports the Manchester Evening News.
They are also seeking anyone who may have captured footage of the crash. Police have confirmed that officers remained at the scene throughout the night, with investigative efforts persisting into today..
PC Philip Drummond from Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "This is another extremely upsetting and tragic collision that has happened in recent days in Wigan and our thoughts remains with their loved ones."
"Our enquiries are ongoing and continuing at pace from last night and we are now appealing to the local community to come forward if they saw anything or have access to doorbell or dashcam CCTV to help us establish further the moments leading up to the collision."
"I'd like to thank residents in the area for their continued understanding and co-operation whilst we worked overnight and today at the scene along with other emergency services colleagues.
