Two men injured in horror Glasgow crash as car ploughs into railings in Toryglen
Two men were left needing hospital treatment after a horror car crash in Glasgow's Toryglen area on Tuesday night, May 21.
Emergency services responded to a road traffic collision on Prospecthill Road, outside of Toryglen Regional Football Centre, at around 8.30pm.
Police, paramedics and firefighters scrambled to the scene after a grey car ploughed into railings across from Asda Toryglen. Two casualties were rescued from the car by firefighters.

Two ambulances dispatched to the scene transported two 20-year-old men to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The emergency services left once the area was made safe again, LanarkshireLive reports.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 20:34 on 21 May to attend a road traffic collision on Prospecthill Road, Toryglen.
"Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and two patients were transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.33pm on Tuesday, 21 May, to reports of a vehicle crashed into railings on Prospecthill Road, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene.
“Two casualties were rescued and were in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.35pm on Tuesday, 21 May, 2024 we were called to a single vehicle crash on Prospecthill Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and two men, both aged 20, were taken to hospital as a precaution.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
