Two people wanted on probation violation apprehended in Bluefield, Va.

BLUEFIELD, Va. — Two people were arrested Wednesday morning after Bluefield, Va. police officers and Tazewell County deputies located them in a Bluefield, Va. home.

Around 10:15 a.m., Bluefield officers assisted Tazewell County deputies in attempting to locate wanted individual Scott Johnson at 103 Hillcrest St, according to a statement from the Bluefield, Va Police Department.

"Upon attempting contact at the residence Johnson was spotted inside of the residence but refused commands to exit," according to the police department's statement.

A search warrant was obtained, and entry was made into the home.

Scott Johnson was taken into custody shortly thereafter, along with an additional wanted subject Donnie Phillips, who was also located in the residence, according to police.

Johnson was wanted for violation of probation out of Tazewell County and Phillips was wanted for violation of probation out of Smyth County.
