Motorists in Norfolk are set to see delays this weekend as two transportable buildings are moved across some of the region's busiest roads.

The loads measuring more than 92 feet in length, are being escorted by police to a site in Bowthorpe Road in Norwich.

The 63-tonne buildings are heading to Norfolk from Cramlington in Northumberland.

The units will be escorted by Norfolk Constabulary from the A14 at the Cambridgeshire border, along the A11, A47, A1270 and A140 before joining local roads to the site.

The first convoy is made up of one unit and an escort vehicle and will hit roads at 8.30am on Saturday.

Following the same route a similar load will be travelling to Norfolk the same time on Sunday morning.
