Selling the OC star Alex Hall is speaking out two months after Brittany Snow’s candid comments about her marriage to Tyler Stanaland and his relationships with his costars on the Netflix docusoap.

In an episode of the podcast Almost Adulting with Violet Benson released Tuesday, Hall responded to Snow’s remarks on a March episode of Call Her Daddy, which Hall felt were aimed at her and suggested she had a hand in Stanaland and Snow's 2023 divorce.

“What bothered me about that interview is that other people took what she said and aimed it towards me,” Hall said. “It’s kind of hard for me to wrap my head around.”

“Sadly, there’s so many other altercations that happened throughout filming on our show with other women with this man, with Tyler,” Hall added.

Seemingly referring to an incident in which cast member Kayla Cardona allegedly tried to Kiss Stanaland, Hall added: “Season 1, one of the girls in the office was trying to, like, seduce Tyler and make out with Tyler.”

Hall also reminds viewers that in season 2 another agent, Polly Brindle, “ends up making out with Tyler in the office.”

“But when Brittany Snow comes out and makes these allegations on the show without naming any names, people automatically accuse me, which I just find odd.” Hall continued. “Because I feel like anybody who watches the show sees the progression of mine and Tyler’s relationship.

The two real estate agents have navigated their evolving relationship on the series following Stanaland’s divorce from the Pitch Perfect star and were in an on-and-off romance in seasons 2 and 3. Stanaland and Snow tied the knot in March 2020 and separated in September 2022, finalizing their divorce the following June.

“I don’t think that there was infidelity in his marriage, no,” Hall said. “But I do think that Tyler is very, very bad at setting boundaries, speaking up for himself and having a backbone. And so I think Tyler gets put into situations where he’s not meaning to be an asshole or a coward or a sh---y person, but he is because he doesn’t set boundaries.”

PEOPLE reached out to a representative for Stanaland for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

Hall went on to explain that she only ever saw “one side” — Stanaland's — of the end of his relationship with Snow.

According to Hall, Stanaland told the cast of Selling the OC, which premiered in August 2022, “very early on” that he and Snow were getting a divorce.

“He basically came into filming saying — once we started all to become friends and confide in each other and trauma bonding — he told us, ‘Oh yeah, my wife said that we’re basically getting a divorce because I went on the show,’” Hall said.

“Not that anything was going on in season 1, but Tyler also acted like a very single man,” Hall added.

When Snow, 38, appeared on Call Her Daddy in March, host Alex Cooper brought up the rumors that swirled among Selling the OC viewers about the nature of Stanaland's relationships with some of his co-stars.

“They took up a lot of energy and emotion and time and real estate in my head," Snow shared. "I don't wanna give them any more time and energy because then they would win and get what they wanted — which was getting my time and energy and attention."

Snow added, "I will say, what people think happened, happened."

Reflecting on her relationship with Stanaland, Snow said, "I was not aware of a lot of things." She noted that the "saddest part" about the situation was that she didn’t listen to her own instincts about her ex-husband despite feeling she has a "good sense of character.”

"I had instincts," she says, "and I think because I was in love, I didn't trust them."

Stanaland, 34, responded to the highly publicized interview with a message posted on his Instagram Stories.

“Relationships are complex even without public attention and speculation,” he began the message.

“A mutual commitment was made, both personally and legally, to never speak about the complexities of my marriage publicly and I plan to honor that,” he continued. “I do, however, want to make it clear that I was never unfaithful in my marriage and the accusations of infidelity couldn’t be further from the truth. I will be making no further comments on this matter.”

“I wish her nothing but the best,” he ended the post.
