Piers Morgan stands to pocket a whopping one million pounds if Tyson Fury goes back into the ring.

The world heavyweight champion announced earlier this year that he was retiring after beating Dillian Whyte, saying: "I'm done."

However, there has been lots of speculation about whether he will fight again and Morgan couldn't resist quizzing the boxer about the whole thing when he appeared on his TalkTV show, Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Fury said: "I put a ridiculous number on today. I said I’ll come back for half a billy, half a billion pounds. That’s £500 million. If that’s not ridiculous to believe I'm not coming back for boxing, I don’t know what is!"

But he went on: "I would definitely look at it if there's half a billion on the table. Half a billy's, half a billy."

Morgan, 57, then asked: “How about this, how about given if you do fight again you are going to get a barrel load of cash, gazillions, how about if you do fight again, you have to give me a million pounds?"

He looked stunned when the sports star agreed, saying: "How about that's a deal?"

"Really?" asked Morgan.

"So we have a deal do we? You'll give me a million quid if you fight again?"

Fury replied: “If I am getting half a billion for my fight, it won’t matter, will it?

"Yep, 100 per cent!”

Morgan was thrilled, saying that he suspected the time would come when he would be cashing in on their agreement.

"I love that deal," he exclaimed.
