Tyson Fury may have been in the spotlight over the weekend as he fought for the crown of undisputed world heavyweight but as a new week began, he was back in Morecombe alongside his wife Paris as they cracked on with normal duties.

Tyson lost to Oleksandr Usyk by a split decision at the fight in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia, on Saturday night (May 18), in the first defeat of the Gypsy King's career.

And the defeated Wythenshawe-born boxer had claimed he would spend time with his wife and seven children, walk the dog, and go to the tip after his loss to Usyk.

Speaking afterwards, Tyson said: "We punched f*** out of each other for 12 rounds. I’m going to go home, eat some food, drink some beers, have some family time, walk the dog, go to the tip.

"Me and Frank Warren will discuss the future. If there’s going to be another fight — I think they’re talking about October — then we’ll rock and roll."

True to his word, Tyson emerged from his Morecambe mansion on Monday (May 20) with rubbish in his hands, ready to head to the local tip after reportedly jetting home on a £34million private jet following his much-anticipated bout which saw him almost KO'd in round nine.

The 35-year-old has been snapped wearing a navy tracksuit top and bottoms with a white cap and sunglasses covering his broken nose and bruised face.

He was joined by Paris, 34, who was expected to be ringside for her husband's big moment, but has since confirmed she did not attend the fight after previously admitting to being a "bag of nerves" beforehand.

After staying quiet on her Instagram page during the match, Paris took to Instagram on Sunday (May 19) and posted a touching message to her husband, promising him that she will "never not be at your side for a fight again". Paris did not disclose why she could not attend the fight.

Posting a photo of the couple as newlyweds when she was 19 and Tyson was 20, she wrote: "Love him more than ever, best man in my eyes."

Addressing her absence at the fight, she said: "Will never not be at your side for a fight again. Even though I couldn't be there, I wished I was." She then posted a quote from traditional wedding vows, ending with "til death do us part', according to God's holy law".
