The Ultimatums Roxanne Kaiser and Antonio Mattei left season 2 of the Netflix show engaged despite her hesitations about marriage.

Now, the reality stars plan to say “I do” in October, but they haven’t been stressing about wedding planning.

“It's not top of mind,” Kaiser told PEOPLE at the Wildly Better Well-Being event in N.Y.C. celebrating the launch of her Proxy gummies. “I'm not this girly who has a Pinterest board, but it's happening slowly.”

Kaiser said she has “no idea” whether she’ll wear a second look for the reception, but she picked out what her bridesmaids will wear and planned a bachelorette party. “But in my head I haven't even called it that, it's just a girls trip,” she explained.

Despite his desire to get married, Kasier said Mattei hasn’t been overzealous about prepping for the big day. “He's happy we're getting married — no pushing,” she said. “We're just kind of cruising.”

Kaiser admitted she did still have some hesitancies about walking down the aisle.

“The ring is on,” she said. “They need a Help Roxanne Get to the Altar show. I'm just kidding!”

Kaiser confessed that she and Mattei haven’t made as much time for each other “as we should” as they both focus on the launches of their businesses — her Proxy wellness gummies and his Tint World automotive services shop.

“For us right now, it's coming home and talking about ‘how was your day at work’ and how can we help each other with our jobs — not much romance and date nights because that's just not what we're doing right now. That's reality,” she admitted. “I know people see it on Instagram, it looks like everyone's romantic and on dates, but that's not the real thing.”

Going on The Ultimatum showed Kaiser and Mattei that “we have to learn how to be a little more of each other,” she said. “We're opposites. I'm Type A, he's Type B. I need a little bit of him and he needs a little of me. We can't just be stuck in our own ways in our box.”

Kaiser also credited her fiancé with helping her manage her panic disorder, which she dealt with while filming.

“Antonio has been helping with panic disorder since we've been together,” Kaiser said. “I had maybe one, two pretty bad panicky moments [while filming] and the Netflix team, they were aware and they helped me through it.”

While speaking on a panel with health professionals and other Netflix stars at her Wildly Better Well-Being event, Kaiser shared that she had her first panic attack while staying by herself at a hotel room. As a result, she asked her loved ones to stay with her at hotel rooms while she traveled for work.

“Asking for it is embarrassing,” Kaiser told the audience at Shopify NY. “I feel like a child, like I'm this grown woman, went to Georgia Tech, best engineering school in the world, but can you come to sleep over with me? It's really hard to ask for that.”

Kaiser reiterated to PEOPLE the importance of advocating for yourself.

“I do think everyone has a different experience, and, it comes a lot with being an advocate for yourself, which is hard,” she said. “Just practice with the closest person in your life, start somewhere small.”

Since leaving The Ultimatum, Kaiser said she’s heard “so many stories” from women who have found inspiration in her journey.

“Hearing women's journeys about abuse, like domestic abuse, and feeling like they wanted to come to me and they would say, ‘I left my man because I saw the way you spoke in a relationship and stood your ground,’” Kaiser shared. “That's life-changing s---.”
