Umbrella Academy's Emmy Raver-Lampman announces birth of first child
The Umbrella Academy's Emmy Raver-Lampman and her partner Daveed Diggs have welcomed their first child.
Emmy poked fun at the newborn's sleep schedule in an Instagram post that revealed the first glimpse at the child.
"Dear baby, you have forever changed us. our hearts are filled with a kind of love we never thought possible. We love you more than you will truly ever know. Thank you for choosing us. Now please…go the f*ck to sleep. Love, mom and dad," she wrote on Instagram.
The couple have received congratulations on their new arrival from famous friends, including Daveed's The Little Mermaid co-star Halle Bailey.
"Congratulations!!!! love you," Halle shared in the comment section.

Emmy's The Umbrella Academy co-star Ritu Arya shared several laughing emojis in response to Emmy's tongue-in-cheek posts, whereas Ashley Madekwe thanked the couple for "giving my son a [sibling]".
"Oh I'm so happy for you both! I'll babysit anytime," Walker: Independence's Katherine McNamara offered.
Emmy is best known for playing Allison Hargreeves in the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, which will return this summer for its fourth and final season. She also recently starred opposite Jason Statham in the action movie The Beekeeper, where she played badass FBI Agent Verona Parker.

Her partner Daveed won a Tony Award for his dual portrayal of the Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the original Broadway cast of Hamilton.
He has more recently voiced Sebastian the Crab in Disney's live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, and lends his voice to the animated series Star Trek: Prodigy. Daveed will next co-star with Kate McKinnon and Rashida Jones in the science fiction film In the Blink of an Eye, which will release on Hulu in the US.
The Umbrella Academy seasons 1-3 are now streaming on Netflix. Season 4 has been confirmed and is expected to premiere in 2014.
