Aston Villa host Olympiacos on Thursday night for the first leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final.

Unai Emery's side overcame Lille in the quarter-finals on penalties and come into the game against Olympiacos on the back of a 2-2 draw against Chelsea last weekend, which followed a win over Bournemouth less than 72 hours after returning to the UK from France.

Emi Martinez and Youri Tielemans both picked up injuries in the draw with Chelsea, while Nicolo Zaniolo and Alex Moreno were both absent. Goalkeeper Martinez was suspended for the first leg against Olympiacos anyway after collecting three bookings before the semi-final stage.

Ahead of Villa's clash with Olympiacos, here is Emery's injury list...

Emi Martinez

Martinez came off at half-time against Chelsea after feeling discomfort in his hamstring. The Argentina international has an outside chance of returning to face Brighton at the weekend.

Possible return date: Brighton (A) - May 5

Youri Tielemans

Tielemans was replaced halfway through the first period against Chelsea after picking up a groin problem. The injury isn't as bad as first feared and he is due back next week.

Possible return date: Olympiacos (A) - May 9

Alex Moreno

Moreno has missed Villa's last three games due to a calf injury after picking up the injury in the win over Arsenal. He was due to miss around three weeks of action.

Possible return date: Olympiacos (A) - May 9

Nicolo Zaniolo

Zaniolo came off injured in the 28th minute of Villa's Europa Conference League second leg against Lille last Thursday. The Italian has since started running again, but his return date is unknown.

Possible return date: Unknown

Jacob Ramsey

Ramsey picked up a foot injury in Villa's win at Luton and was replaced by Morgan Rogers soon after he tried to continue. He has since been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Return date: Pre-season

Emi Buendia

Buendia suffered an ACL injury on the eve of the new Premier League season. He is back out on the grass doing individual work with the ball, but is unlikely to feature this season.

Mings is also recovering from an ACL injury and will not play this campaign. Emery is hopeful the centre-back can get back to full fitness during pre-season ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Return date: Pre-season

Boubacar Kamara

Kamara will miss the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury in Villa's 2-1 home defeat against Manchester United. Emery expects the midfielder to return in September or October after undergoing surgery last month.

Possible return date: September
