Yahoo News Tielemans, Moreno Rogers - Aston Villa injury latest and return dates ahead of Liverpool
Aston Villa are targeting a victory which would seal their qualification for the Champions League on Monday night as Liverpool head to Villa Park.
Unai Emery's side come into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Olympiacos out in Greece, which ended the club's Europa Conference League campaign at the semi-final stage. Villa welcomed Emi Martinez back into the XI, but remained without Youri Tielemans, Nicolo Zaniolo and Morgan Rogers through injury.
Alex Moreno was also ruled out after picking up a fresh knock before the game, while Emi Buendia, Tyrone Mings, Boubacar Kamara and Jacob Ramsey have been sidelined for some time.

Ahead of Villa's clash with Liverpool, here is Emery's injury list...
Alex Moreno
Moreno picked up a fresh injury before Villa's trip to Greece to play Olympiacos last Thursday, but Emery is hopeful he will be fit to return to face Liverpool.

Youri Tielemans
Tielemans was replaced halfway through the first period against Chelsea after picking up a groin problem. The injury wasn't as bad as first feared and he could return to face Liverpool after Emery said he was "close" to making a comeback after the defeat to Olympiacos.

Morgan Rogers
Rogers picked up a muscle injury in the first half of Villa's defeat at Brighton earlier this month. Emery has been tight lipped over his return.

Nicolo Zaniolo
Zaniolo is not yet fully fit after first picking up a knock in the Europa Conference League second leg against Lille last month. He travelled to Brighton with his teammates at the weekend, but was not included in the squad after feeling uncomfortable on the morning of the game. Emery said he was unsure when the Italian would be able to return.

Emi Buendia
Buendia suffered an ACL injury on the eve of the new Premier League season. He has since returned to group training at Bodymoor Heath, but is not expected to feature in a matchday squad before the campaign concludes.

Jacob Ramsey
Ramsey picked up a foot injury in Villa's win at Luton and was replaced by Morgan Rogers soon after he tried to continue. He has since been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Tyrone Mings
Mings is also recovering from an ACL injury and will not play this campaign. Emery is hopeful the centre-back can get back to full fitness during pre-season ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Boubacar Kamara
Kamara will miss the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury in Villa's 2-1 home defeat against Manchester United. Emery expects the midfielder to return in September or October after undergoing surgery last month.
