Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery has batted away links to the Bayern Munich job, which have surfaced in German media this week.

Bild claim that the German giants hold an interest in Emery, but the Villa boss refused to entertain conversations about his future in this afternoon's post-match press conference after his side's 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

After Villa's 20th league victory of the season, Emery was asked about the links. He replied in emphatic fashion, saying: "I am focused here, 100 per cent."

Villa's win over Bournemouth extends their cushion inside the top four to six points, but Tottenham have two games in hand. Spurs could be under even more pressure in their games in hand if Villa can further extend their cushion inside the Champions League places next weekend when they host Chelsea on Saturday, before the north London derby.

Dominic Solanke put the Cherries in front from the spot this afternoon, before Morgan Rogers restored parity for Villa in the first minute of additional time. Ollie Watkins was unplayable in the second half as he made two assists for Moussa Diaby and Leon Bailey to wrap up the points.
