The search for missing teenager Jay Slater has entered its nineteeth day.

Jay, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, travelled to Tenerife for a music festival with his friend Lucy and another friend. He was last heard from at around 8am on Monday, June 17 when he called Lucy to tell her his phone had 1% battery and he needed water.

Spanish police have ended their search for Jay but friends and family of the 19-year-old remain in Tenerife. Among those is British detective Mark Williams-Thomas, who has shared updates since travelling to Spanish island.
