Upper Bann General Election 2024 results in full as Carla Lockhart holds her seat
The DUP's Carla Lockhart has comfortably retained her Upper Bann seat.
The sitting DUP MP recorded 21,642 votes, with Sinn Fein's Catherine Nelson in second place with 14,236 votes.
The constituency has a unionist majority, with the area encompassing the post-industrial towns of Portadown, Craigavon, and Lurgan.
In 2019, this was the eighth safest Westminster constituency in Northern Ireland, with just 8,210 votes separating the winner, Ms Lockhart and Sinn Féin's John O'Dowd. The seat was created in 1983 and has always returned a unionist MP.
