Urgent appeal to find missing girl, 16, who may have travelled to Blackpool

Officers are searching for a missing teenage girl who may have travelled to Blackpool.

Lily was last seen in the Temple Normanton area of East Derbyshire at around 12.20pm on Saturday (July 6). Police said she was last seen wearing black boots, black leggings and a black puffer jacket

Lily, whose surname has not been given, is described as being of slim build with dyed black, shoulder length straight hair with a facial piercing. Officers are "concerned" for her safety and are urging anyone with information or sightings to get in contact.

Blackpool Police wrote on Facebook: "Can you help? Lily may have travelled to the Blackpool area" as they shared an appeal from Derbyshire Constabulary

Their statement read: "We are concerned for the safety of a missing teenager who has been reported missing from Temple Normanton. Lily was last seen in the area at around 12.20pm on Saturday 6 July.

"The 16-year-old is described as being slim with dyed black, shoulder length straight hair with a facial piercing. She was last seen wearing black boots, black leggings and a black puffer jacket.

"Have you seen Lily or do you know where she is? If you have any information which could help, please contact us on the details below with reference 535 of 6 July:
