Urgent appeal to find missing Solihull pensioner

An urgent appeal has been launched to find an elderly pensioner who has gone missing from Solihull. Anthony, who is 81, left his home on Monday (July 8) and has not been seen since.

Anthony is believed to have headed into Birmingham city centre on a bus. Police have issued a photo of Anthony, who is white clean-shaven and wearing a flat cap.

He is 5ft 6 inches tall and walks with a walking stick. He was last seen wearing smart black trousers and a jumper over a T-shirt. And he also was wearing , flat blue pumps, a flat cap.

In issuing the missing persons appeal a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Do you know where Anthony is? The 81-year-old is missing from home in Solihull and we believe he's travelled by bus into # Birmingham city centre.

“He's 5ft 6in tall, and was last seen wearing smart black trousers, a jumper over a T-shirt, flat blue pumps, a flat cap, and he's got a walking stick. If you've seen him please call 999, quoting PID 445171.”
