Urgent hunt for 'high risk' missing teenager as police issue appeal

Police have issued an appeal for help to find a 'high-risk' missing teenager.

Eleanor Sumner was last seen in the area of New Longton, close to Howick Cross Lane, in Penwortham. Officers have today (may 20) shared a picture of the 17-year-old on social media and are asking anyone with information or sightings to get in contact.

A South Ribble Police spokesperson said: "HIGH RISK MISSING PERSON APPEAL - We are appealing for the whereabouts or any information on where we could locate a missing female ELEANOR SUMNER Age 17 years..

"We believe she was last seen in the area of NEW LONGTON close to HOWICK CROSS LANE. Any information please ring 101 quoting log LC-20240520-0188."
