Urgent police appeal after woman goes missing from Stockport

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to track down a missing woman from Stockport.

Fiona was last seen on Edward Street in the Marple Bridge area. Officers said she was last spotted at around 9.30pm yesterday evening (Sunday, June 23).

Police want to 'make sure she is safe and well'. In an appeal posted on social media this morning, officers described Fiona as being a white female who is around 5ft 2in tall.

She is of slim build and has brown hair, which she wears in a bun/ponytail. She also wears glasses.

Fiona was last seen wearing a black cardigan, with a navy blue top and black leggings. She was also wearing Nike trainers with a black logo on and was believed to be carrying a black River Island bag.

Greater Manchester Police have urged anyone who spots her, or who has any information on her whereabouts, to get in touch. Police can be contacted on 0161 856 9721 quoting log 3636 on 23/06/2024.
