Urgent search for missing elderly man last seen in Chigwell as police 'worried' for his welfare

Police have launched an urgent search to find a missing elderly man. Essex Police are 'worried' about Brian Woodward, 86, from Chigwell, Essex.

Brian was last seen in the Whitehall Close area of Chigwell at around midnight on Thursday, May 16. He is described as being 5ft 3in, stocky, and bald.

He may be wearing a flat cap, dark grey tracksuit trousers, a white T-shirt with a picture on it, and blue trainers. A statement from Essex Police said: ‘We’re really worried about him and need to find him to make sure he’s ok’.

Update Friday afternoon: Essex Police confirmed Brian has been found and thanked those for sharing their appeal.
