Urgent search for missing schoolboy who vanished from Scots town days ago

A desperate search is underway to trace a schoolboy who vanished from a Scots town three days ago.

Ross McCormack, 14, has been reported missing from Johnsone in Renfrewshire.

The teenager was last seen leaving his home address at 1pm on Monday, April 29.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a grey jumper, grey trousers and a black body warmer.

Anybody who may have any information on Ross' whereabouts is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3941 of April 29, 2024.

A Police Scotland statement reads: "We are appealing for the publics assistance in tracing Ross McCormack, 15, reported missing from his home address in Johnstone.

"Anyone who has seen Ross or has any information which could help, can contact Police Service of Scotland on 101."
