'I used to work at Disney hotel – one guest did the dumbest thing I'd ever seen'

A former Disney resort employee has shared a shocking tale of how a family's dream holiday turned into a nightmare due to a misunderstanding about the hotel's services.

The ex-staffer, known as @ohanainorlando on TikTok, responded to a question posed by fellow user @evansnead, who asked past and present Disney employees to share the "dumbest thing" a guest had ever asked them while working at the park.

@ohanainorlando recalled an incident where a guest had been checked in for several hours but was growing concerned because their luggage hadn't arrived.

The guests were using Disney's magical express service, she explained, and staff members were trying to locate their missing bags.

However, they couldn't find any trace of the luggage in their system. When they finally asked the guests where they'd left their bags, the answer left them stunned.

The guests revealed that they'd left their luggage on the front porch of their home, believing that the 'magical' service would somehow collect it from there and transport it to Disney World.

In response to their story, one person expressed surprise saying: "I can't even believe they managed to find their way from the house to the airport like damn."

Another added: "As a former resort front desk manager...this 100% is not an isolated incident. These people exist".

Meanwhile, a TikToker confessed: "I didn't even laugh", with the bizarre tale leaving her "really sad", and another commented: "Me thinking they left their luggage at the airport but nah they took it a step beyond comparison."
